Darling Downs Region
The Darling Downs Region has two Camp Sites:
"Wirraglen" and "Cumorah"
"Wirraglen" is situated some 14Km north of Toowoomba just off the New England Highway, near Highfields.

| Camping |
"Wirraglen", on 12 Ha land, about is divided in two parts by Klein Creek: a) Training Ground and b) Scout Ridge. The Training Ground is primarily for Leader Training and Pack Holiday purposes and has a new kitchen, 6 bunk rooms, toilets, showers, training rooms, chapel site and a camp-fire circle. Whilst Scout Ridge is used for normal camping with toilets and showers. There is a public swimming pool within 15 minutes walk, as well as a local Historical Centre.
"Cumorah" is a good bush camp site next to a creek; below the edge of the Range (east), near Murphy's Creek, about half an hour drive from Toowoomba.

Facilities are limited, with earth toilets and tank water. It is recommend that you bring your own drinking water. Key to the gate is obtained from the Region Office
